tugging at me from deep within.”


 


This scene underlines our deep dependence on technologies that violate our privacy. Regulation must be quick and adaptive as participation in the digital sphere becomes more and more inevitable. 

Societies that value privacy sometimes inadvertently block the work that goes into privacy regulation by resisting technologies that involve tracking. An inability to experiment and find tailored solutions may eventually mean adopting similar tools down the line on someone else’s terms.
